Last updated: 27th December 2003 Name: Neike Apollyon Satana, Pink Goth the Second Splinters of Dusk Callsign: Dread, PinkGothic, or Magenta Salaxacis Callsign: Neike Ravenblack Screenname: PinkGoth2 Age: Physically appears to be 19 Appearance: Neike is extremely thin in build, bordering unhealthy, but only bordering, giving her a natural aristocratic, arrogant touch, and the typical blue veins shining from under her perfectly pale skin. She was like this even when she was human - even her pale skin did not pale further because of her vampiric transformation. She has no muscles whatsoever to display. Her fingernails are irregular in length - she chews on them on a regular basis, a bad habit. Her eyes are a sparkling blue grey colour which occasionally "shift" to a dark brown or silver if the light is right. Her fingers are long and elegant. Her face is slightly narrow, and her hair shoulderlength gold - an illusion created by having partly blond and partly reddishbrown hair. She keeps a single black streak in her hair, making sure it almost radiates in colour - it is on her right side. She wears her hair in such a manner than the streak is visible and hair covers the right side of her face. On her neck is the tattoo of a tribal style gecko, the sign of the Splinters of Dusk, which she chose to wear openly and with pride. Clothing: She wears thouroughly black since having joined the Splinters - nothing kitschy like leather or vinyl, though, just regular clothes in all black, though she does tend to keep them tight fitting, simply because she loves her slenderness so much. It's not like she has any large female attributes to hide, her chest is extremely flat for a girl, so the clothes are truly anything but provocatively meant. She wears a strange, tribal styled silver necklace around her neck, something she found at random, and which's meaning eludes her, should it even have one. Background: Neike has no idea as to how she became vampiric, she only knows that the first few conscious weeks of her vampiric existence were fogged in feeding frenzies, amnesia-like memory lapses, and the worst feelings she has ever felt. She wants to find who made her to what she is and punish them from ripping her from her normal life the way they did, inflicting non-requested immortality unto her. History: Neike spent the first few weeks of her vampire existence in a random state of biting and attacking and feeding, lusting for nothing but blood, always hungry. Other vampires responded harshly to these actions by her - humans died. She fell out of touch with any sociality. When finally a vampire did address her in a friendly manner, she had fallen so far that she needed to learn almost all sense of honour and morality from scratch. She never got far. Living in the clan of Salaxacis taught her what friendship could be, but not what it was - and then, after she met Mictian, she was torn even from this simple set of ideals, and thrown into a chaotic anarchy, drenched with power, finding it in places she did not know existed beforehand, and slowly, this is transforming her into an antisocial, cruel vampiric creature, a guard dog of Mictian's, the only vampire she fully trusts. Kayura and starseed, the two Salaxians she is most attatched to, she sees less and less. They both seem to strongly mistrust Mictian - even Frederick, her human companion, mistrusts him (though he does it only because he thinks Mictian might steal his girlfriend from him) - and so she is drifting away from all her former contacts, threatening to slip to a point of hate. Attitude: Neike has recently hit a point where she has become drunk on her power. She does not hurt vampires intentionally or unintentionally, but her pride is on overload, and she accepts suggestions from the fewest people. She is authority in the Splinters, even just as a Shard, and she enjoys it. The only thing keeping her from further slipping down the path of the chaotic is that initiation in Splinter terms still frightens her, and she has and has to witness it, sometimes even do it herself. Emotionally, she is extremely unbalanced - knocked out of the drunk, fogged state that Salaxacis kept her in, aware of the world again, hyperaware of the world again, dangerously alert. She mistrusts many, but yearns at the same time for a handful of friends she can give herself to, and secretly hopes for at least Kayura to befriend Mictian. Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, Detatched Powers: Neike has a pain tolerance that is up through the roof. No sane attack can harm her emotionally, and her bloodpoints are of no relevance to her. She is a fighting machine with extreme stamina, speed (Celerity) and stealth (Shadows). The only vampiric power she lacks is that which to locate other vampires with, which she has discarded as nonsensical for her - she has no "enemies", so she prides herself, because anyone can attack her, but she will attack no one. Mentally, she's quite a monster, but still far from invulnerable... and she knows it, but very often acts like she does not. Possessions: She treasures a single vial of Holy Water that has on many occasions almost been used, but then was not - her first item, in fact. She keeps it now as a token of good luck, and it has done it's job well. Beyond that, she keeps a stack of Scrolls of Turning in her backpack, to help other Splinters into full banks (she herself has Surprise), and usually carries a handful of Scrolls of Teleportation, also, to help her around. Most likely seen around: Nox Noctis, The Feathered Serpent, or, most frequently, the Splintered Dusk Barracks.
